This Yoto Card requires a Yoto Player or Yoto Mini to be playable.

About Yoto

The Yoto player is a carefully connected screen free speaker for kids. Back in 2015 the founders of Yoto were, like many of us concerned about the effects of to much screen time for their kids.

They decided to make a prototype of a screen free speaker that kids from toddler to 12+ could enjoy. After launching a kickstart campaign in 2017 which was fulfilled in just days the first generation yoto player was put into production. Since then it has been a run away success with more cards and content and useful accessories being launched regularly.

2021 saw the launch of the Yoto mini, a smaller travel sized screen free speaker for day trips and holidays.

Here at Freedom To Explore we have a Yoto player at home for our little ones, its a huge success and much loved by both of them. All the content is loved, podcasts, music, books plus we use the white noise and sleep songs for bed time and then as a night light! It is a very robust little machine, ours has weathered being left out in the rain (obviously NOT advised!), many drops and knocks and once the card slot may even of been filled with porridge…..we won’t name any names but it survived and is still going strong!

About yoto

Yoto Play was founded by Filip Denker and Ben Drury in 2016. The company is based in London, United Kingdom.

The idea for Yoto Play originated from their desire to create a screen-free and interactive audio platform specifically designed for children. They recognized the importance of audio in children's development and wanted to provide a safe and engaging way for kids to listen to stories, music, and educational content.

Since its founding, Yoto Play has gained popularity and expanded its library of content, offering a diverse range of audio experiences for children. The Yoto Player device, along with the Yoto Play platform, has received positive feedback from parents and educators alike for its focus on quality content and child-friendly design.

why pick yoto

Yoto Play offers an alternative to screen-based entertainment for children. It focuses on audio content, allowing kids to engage with stories, music, and educational content without relying on screens.

Yoto Play provides a curated library of content that is suitable for children. This includes a wide variety of audiobooks, podcasts, and music albums from popular children's authors, publishers, and musicians.

Yoto Play emphasizes educational content, offering programs that promote literacy, imagination, and learning. It can be a valuable tool for developing listening skills and expanding vocabulary.

Parents have control over the content their children can access through the Yoto Play platform. They can choose which cards to purchase or subscribe to, and they can also upload their own content to the Yoto app and transfer it to the Yoto Player.
