How to Return an item at Freedom To Explore

Returns Terms and Conditions.

You must check all orders and report any faults to or incorrect items to us on Info@freedomtoexplore.co.uk  within 48 hours of delivery

Returns Policy

At Freedom To Explore, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a 28-day returns policy.

Key Terms

The 28-day period starts from the date of dispatch.

Items must be returned to us within the 28-day period.

Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

How to Return an Item

Package the item securely, including all original labels and packaging.

Include a note with your order number and name

Send the item back to us via a trackable delivery service to ensure safe return.

Please note: The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or we’ve made an error. If your return is lost in transit it is up to you to then claim for the cost of the item from your chosen shipping company therefore we highly advise using an insured service.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we will process your refund within 7 working days, please note that once the refund is issued from our end how long it takes to reach you is down to your bank and can take 7-10 days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

If you return an item that is not ‘as new’, we reserve the right to offer a partial refund. 

Please note underwear cannot be returned if opened due to Hygiene.

Where do I send my return?

Simply Add a note on scrap paper with your name and order number to the package.

We do not send invoices/returns slips in packages to save paper usage and therefore trees.

Make sure you select a postal service that is fully insured for the value of your item, if it does not land back with us or arrives damaged you will need to make the claim via the postal service yourself for the value of the item, we will support you in doing this.

How long will it take for me to receive my refund?

Refunds are processed weekly upon receipt of the returned items, but your payment provider / Paypal often take up to 10 - 20 days to deposit it back into your account.

What if I want an exchange?

My item arrived damaged, What do I do?

Thankfully this occurs very rarely but occasionally does happen. In such an instance, please contact us via one of our channels here and we will be in touch to arrange a replacement or refund.

I missed the deliver or forgot to collect my parcel.

If your order is returned to us due to missed deliveries or no collection from your depot, we are happy to either resend it or refund you (minus a £3.95 postage fee). 

Please be aware that it can take up to a month for undelivered items to be returned to the sender.

Do you offer free returns?

Sadly as a small business we can not offer free returns unless an item is faulty
